Maximum N applications should not
exceed 140 lbs. of Exactrix N per acre
-
Maximum N applications should not exceed 140 lbs. of
Exactrix N per acre in total of as Ammonium or NH4 and including NH4 in
liquid products APP,ATS.
-
Economic inputs are not as efficient, Yield reductions
occur above 140 total lbs. of N as NH4 per acre.
-
This Exactrix Rule is not observable or applicable to
pressure reducing NH3 systems or solution 32 systems due a lack of a
1%CV Uniformity of application and Band Streaming flows.
-
Applications were up to 52 lbs N per acre NH4 or well
above 140 total pounds of N.
-
Yield loss is estimated at 9 to 15 bushels per acre from
over application.
-
The back side of the yield curve is seldom of concern to
fertilizer dealers commonly called insurance.
-
There is limit to a good thing and with Exactrix Ammonia
applied at 1%CV of application TAPPS that limit is now well understood.
-
Remember yields come up fast with TAPPS and TAPPKTS plus
Zinc and Mn. See Chart 2 and 3.
-
The Yield curve peaks at 140 pounds total N and then
tapers down fast as shown in Chart 3.
